- These lyrics are pretty vaguely written. Because of that, they were quite hard to translate, but we tried to convey the meaning as best as possible while keeping some of the vagueness expressed in the Japanese.
In the first stanza, it wasn't specified who/what he is seeking/is disappearing. We took it as referring to the "you". The Japanese pretty much is saying "Why is that if I seek [something], [that something]will disappear." You can't really write it in English without a pronoun though.
In the 2nd line of chorus, it is unclear as to what is floating/trembled so we left out the pronoun. The verb used here for 'tremble' is one that is usually used with physically untangible things such as a thought or feeling. (Such as saying, "my courage wavered.") I think this way it came across with the listener being able to infer what it is.
