LYRIC TRANSLATION

aishuu melancholia
We're just going to ignore the title, because it's a bit difficult in translating the kanji used and we aren't sure of what is meant

words: Hayato, music: Natsuki
translation: konomi and moo

Alone, I stand still on the street lined with swaying trees

The dead leaves that began stirring, I am watching them fall.
I wonder how much crying it would take for me to be able to return to that time...

Before the season becomes frozen*, I want to see you once more
On the way home, our pinky fingers were entwined, but love's fallen leaves bury me and I can't walk.**

Even now if I close my eyes I feel you next to me

though that person I loved so much is not here.
But if I smell the sweet autumn breeze, rather than being lonely, it is accompaning me...

Before the season becomes frozen, I want to see you once more
In this small room, I hold only memories of the time we spent together and I can't sleep

Today too, under the warped moon, the long night comes.
the whithered leaves pour down to this lonely room and dye it red.

If I stifle these memories that can't be erased, will I be happy now?
I can hide the tears that well up, but autumn love is a sorrowful thing isn't it...

* Literally he wrote "Before it changes into the frozen season", but that just sounds lame in English. So I changed it.

** I think he means, that one day while going home together they made a pinky promise. But now he is buried in the leaves and can't complete the promise.
