HEY GUYS
I don't have anything cool to post, I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm back from my freaking long trip that I didn't post about, did I? Anyway, I'm back, so hopefully I'll at least post a couple things before I leave again. The next trip is shorter (2 weeks as opposed to 7), and it's to Japan, so maybe I'll find some neat stuff to "share" (at the very least talk about and take pictures of) while I'm there.
Welcome to the new home of Eden!!
Not much has changed, except for this:
I got so many spam comments, that I had to turn off comments for non-registered users. You'd think that would be an available option, but I had to use a hack that someone made. Isn't that ridiculous?! Anyway.. I'm sorry if that's inconvenient for anyone, but I don't really have a choice. Also, when moving stuff over, all the registered users got deleted, so even if you registered previously, please re-register in order to comment. As before, downloads will only be available to members, but I haven't posted any in a long time so don't register in the hopes that there'll be tons of goodies here^^;
I just updated the system that I use to manage this site (b2evolution), and it says that you should re-do your templates rather than just copying + pasting them... but I'm lazy, so I didn't do that. So if something doesn't work, let me know!
The reason I updated it was because the new version supposedly has better spam management. I've gotten a few hundred spam comments in the past few days, so hopefully it'll either fix the problem or make it better. If it doesn't, I may have to disable comments altogether. If the system were better, it would let me disallow comments for unregistered users, but NOOOOOOO.
ANYWAY. The main purpose of this post is to confirm that I haven't died ^_^; I hope to have some Shounen Club and Ya-Ya-yah and Suka-J reports up soon! And as for downloading -- the radio shows I record end up at jpopsuki nowadays, but if anyone can't use BitTorrent I'd be happy to post them here, too.
I have returned from the depths of .... Japan.
Nothing new to report. Nothing news-y happened while I was gone, I don't think.
Uhh, Kanjani8's gonna have a song called "Mugendai" for the movie "Robots" (Kusanagi Tsuyoshi's doing a voice in it). NEWS' new PV is funny, and the dance is extra lame. There was some Fuji TV/volleyball-related thing going on in Shibuya right before I left (to go to Osaka), but it doesn't seem like NEWS did anything there. But I did see Koyama and Massu on TV supporting Japan in the Japan vs Dominican Republic game. (Of COURSE it was them; they have the least work
) Koyama talked about one of the players, and then Massu's comment was basically "yep, she was really great. what I thought was great about the game was her." He's so bad at talking.
I got a bunch of magazines and have been translating some things, but I'm not sure if I want to post them cause I'm a really crappy translator and am embarrassed by my crappy translations.
About The Site
I created this site as a way to hold all my TV reports, which I use so I can keep track of what went on in what episode of what show. I've added other things that are less "for me" and more "for you," but the site is still essentially for me, and because of that the updates are sporadic. Also, I don't translate everything; I'll skip over certain people in magazine articles if I don't like them or think they're interesting enough.
All the content here I've created myself (well, in the sense that I translate it or whatever) so I'd PREFER people to at least ask before taking things....but this IS the internet. I'm not going to get all emo and cut myself just because people used my translations without asking. But please -- if you are going to take something, link to my site? That way, people can look at all the other stuff on my site, without having to rely on you to show it to them.
