Kanjani8 are going to do another Christmas Party this year!! YAAAAY!!

They're gonna have multiple shows (usually 3 but occasionally 2) every day from December 16th to 25th.

The tickets are 5500Y and only available to Johnny's Jr. news...thingy members.

TOKIO's Nagase Tomoya recent movie, "Mayonaka no Yaji-san Kita-san" is going to play in American theaters--!!
It'll be sometime before next summer, and will play at about 40 theaters nationwide.
There are also plans to release the DVD in America.
Nagase said, "For the promotion, I want to cross America in my car!"

Seeing how this site has become solely a collection of TV/radio reports, and not much of anything else (any small bits of news/rambling ends up in my personal journal), I feel weird posting actual news, but..I WILL ANYWAY. Just a couple bits of TV-related news.

Mugendai no Gimon stopped airing. It will be replaced by a show called (apparently) Suka-J and will feature (big surprise) girls in bikinis. Oh, how I've missed you, girls in bikinis. (Not really, but as long as KJ8 actually go out and DO things, I don't care how many girls in bikinis there are.)

D no Arashi has ALSO stopped. It will evolve into G no Arashi. No, I don't know what the G stands for. (I've heard rumors, but until I watch the show or hear from someone who's watched it, I don't believe any of them.)

It has been announced that Kanjani8 will have a couple handshake events as support for their new single!

September 17th (Saturday) in Tokyo @ Tokyo International Forum, Hall A
September 18th (Sunday) in Osaka @ ATC Building ITM Section 2-A (Trade Center station on the New Tram line)

Both events start at 8:00AM.
To shake their hands, you must buy a copy of the single. If you buy more copies, you can go through again (but you have to go to the end of the line).
The rules include: turn off your cell phone, don't take any recording devices, don't give any fanletters or presents, leave after you're done, etc. (common sense type stuff).

I'm sure everyone knows already, cause if you're getting your latest-breaking news from my site, you'll be very behind all the time :lines: But anyway.. it was announced today that Uchi Hiroki was hospitalized with a collapsed lung, and won't be performing in Dream Boy or doing anything else until he recovers, in about three weeks.

Poor Uchi :crying:

Imai Tsubasa's done a few commercials for Tongari Corn before, and in his new one, Tegoshi plays his younger brother!! Yay Tegoshi, his first (?) CM~!! I believe they start airing April 15th.

Since it's a new month (in Japan at least), I went around checking all the radio/TV websites that I regularly check.
