In this monthly corner, Popolo asks a bunch of people what their favorite XX is, or some other single-answer question. (In fact I can't think of any questions that weren't "favorite XX" but I want to keep my options open so it doesn't seem like I'm lying!).
For this issue, the question was what is their favorite donburi. Donburi is a bowl of rice with something on top.
I included all the names of people, whether they're Johnny's or not, but I only translated comments that I thought were interesting. (Which wasn't very many^^; )
Aiba Masaki - yakiniku-don (grilled beef)
Akanishi Jin - uni-don (sea urchin)

Koike Teppei - I like the oyakodon my mom makes.
I like my family's oyakodon best. It's really average oyakodon, but the sauce is a bit sweet like Kansai-style, and I like what my mom makes. It's important to have green peas on the top.
Ninomiya Kazunari - Before I've noticed, there's oyakodon in front of me...
When I'm with co-workers or friends, for some reason there's a high probability that I'll eat oyakodon. I don't even order it, but it just appears on the table for some reason. That's how close our relationship is.
Shibutani Subaru - I don't know of any other donburi (laugh)
My favorite is oyakodon. Huh? There are other types of donburi? All I know of is oyakodon! (laugh). What I always order is that. I like the egg to be half-done.
Taguchi Junnosuke - I had it while on location, and was moved!
Did you know that there's something called "foie gras-don"? While on location for a TV show, I had it at a French restaurant, and it was TOO good that I was moved. I want to eat it again!
